ladies of the canyon

this past
weekend
i was spirited away
to my dear friend's home
in topanga canyon
to celebrate her birthday.

we sunbathed, lounged, danced
and i finally had
an occasion to wear
my 1940's chacha dress.

i'm going

my old 60's

rehab work to it

that navy number
on the right is
my dream bikini
